From your hotel, we take you to visit Ho Chi Minh complex, including Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum - the final resting place of Vietnamese great father or Uncle Ho, President Ho Chi Minh's stilt house - where Ho lived on and off from 1958 to 1969, then visit Ho Chi Minh's museum where tourists will learn what he had done for Viet Nam and some other countries and learn all kinds of information about President Ho Chi Minh. The next place is One Pillar Pagoda a group of structures consisting of a pagoda and a tower built in the middle of a square pond. Leave One Pillar Pagoda for the Temple of Literature the first college of Viet Nam dedicated to Confucian. Have lunch at a restaurant. After lunch, drive to visit Tran Quoc Pagoda, Which is on the shore of West Lake. The last place of city tour is Hoan Kiem Lake (Restored Sword Lake) with Ngoc Son Temple. End at your hotel in the afternoon.

From your hotel, we take you to visit the Municipal Theatre a typical opera house built by the French in 1911, History Museum- where exhibits artifacts from prehistory to the history of the communist party, Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple - is regarded the heart of the city. Then, transfer to the Old quarter to Witness ordinary life in Hanoi. After a lunch of Bun Cha (grilled meat on rice noodles) we continue to the Army Museum - displays scale models of various epic battles from the long military history of Viet Nam to the capture of Saigon, Ba Dinh Square - Where Ho Chi Minh declared independence in 1945, Quan Thanh Temple and the Museum of Ethnology - Where you can look at the cultural mosaic of 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups. A chain of Temples and Pagodas located far away from habitants, Perfume pagoda including more than twenty pagodas that is thought as the center of Buddhism in the Northern. Come to the Pagoda, you will find the real Peace of Nature and the Peace of Mind. The main pagoda, Perfume Pagoda, was placed inside a huge, mysterious cave which has earned the name as "The first cave under the Southern sky". PM: At 2:00, we return to Cat Ba harbor and take small boats to Monkey Island to observe monkeys in their native habitat. On to Lan ha bay for kayaking and exploring. Stop at Ba Trai Dao beach for swimming and go back to hotel at approx 5:00. Rest, dinner, and explore the night life of Cat Ba Island.

Day 3: Ha Long - Cat Ba - Ha Noi

Back to Sa Pa for dinner. In the evening, you are free to visit Sa Pa town and Love Market.

Day 2: Sapa - Lao Cai - Ha Noi

Day 2: Sapa

Day 3: SA PA - LAI CHAU (170KM ) Departure at 6.30am,you can enjoy Long Nhai village and Silver waterfall on the way, arrive at about 6.00PM. Over night in Lai Chau.

Day 4: LAI CHAU - DIEN BIEN PHU (160KM ) Departure at 6.30am, arrive at 6.00PM, over night there. Visit a small museum of the battle field, headquarters of Colonel Christan de Cateries, old French tanks and artillery pieces.

Day 5: DIEN BIEN PHU - SON LA (150KM ) Leaving at 7.00am to see battle field and museum, visit the hill-tribe hamlets Black Tay, Meo, Muong and White Tay, then go to Son La, over night in Son La.

Day 6: SON LA - HA NOI ( 320KM ) Departure at 6.00am, you can visit Son La prison, caves or stop for visiting small ethnic hamlets (Muong people), scattering along the way from Yen Chau, Moc Chau - Hoa Binh in case having enough time.

The freshwater Lake Ba Be is the only significant natural upland lake in the North of Viet Nam. From Thai Nguyen City, capital of Bac Thai province, you drive along Highway 3 to the towns of Bac Can and Phu Thong. After another 16 km you will arrive at Ba Be Lake which is about 225 km from Hanoi. Ba Be is some 145m above sea level, 8 km long, 3 km wide and about 20-30m deep. The lakes actually consists of three lakes called Pe Lam, Pe Lu and Pe Leng, and derives its name Ba Be (which in Vietnamese means Three Seas) from this, Lake Ba Be is surrounded by limestone mountains and thick forest, home to many species of rare birds and animals. You can take a dugout canoe to visit the small islands of Po Ga Mai and An Ma, and Puong Grotto. The Grotto, is about 300m long, and 30-40m in height and width. The stalagmites and stalagmites inside the grotto are beautiful and diverse in forms. Some of them look like a reclining Buddha, a sitting tiger, climbing monkeys and so on. If you have time, you can travel one hour by boat to visit Dau Dang Fall. The 100-m, three-level waterfall makes the scenery even more magnificent.

Day 1: Hanoi - Ba Be Lake Departing Hanoi for the 6-hour journey 250km road trip to Ba Be you will pass through the large mining town of Thai Nguyen before leaving urban life behind and head into the lush hills of Cao Bang province. Leaving Highway 3 the road turns off for the final 30-kilometer track into the park. The road from his is unpaved. On arrival at park headquarters rangers will brief you on the flora and fauna of the park. Overnight in Hotel.

Day 2: Boating to visit the poetic lake, surrounded by thick forest, steep mountain with ethnic hamlets. Enjoy a boat ride on the lake that will take you to the small "Tay" village of Pac Ngoi (weather permitting), and the possibility of a swim in the lake's clear, turquoise water. Combine a boat journey along the Nang River through various rural communities with walks along the riverbank.
